John Dean – Crime Writer

Welcome to my website. I am a crime novelist living in South West Scotland who has had twenty five novels published by The Book Folks and who is the creator of the popular DCI John Blizzard and DCI Jack Harris series.

My site, which is currently under construction, will hopefully provide much to entertain and inform you about my world, including news, published books and the editing and manuscript assessment service that I offer, as well as lots of free handy hints for aspiring authors learning their craft.

The site will also have details of my online crime fiction courses as well as my talks and appearances at festivals, and it will feature news from the wider crime fiction world as well as updates on authors with whom I work and reviews of the books written by the crime and thriller writers whose work I enjoy.
