Here’s a tantalising glimpse of the cover for the thirteenth book in my best-selling DCI Jack Harris series of crime novels, which is due to be published by the Book Folks, a Joffe Books imprint, on November 9, 2026.
I can’t say much ahead of publication but I can reveal that Six Steps to Murder starts with a killing in the midst of a wildfire which is threatening the Chief Inspector’s cottage on a North Pennines hillside.
As the story unfolds, Harris and his team find themselves dealing with people who will do anything to protect dark secrets which go back years.
